Just sitting here with my faithful buddy, Lola. I haven't forgotten about my blog. It just seems like it's a busy time, and I haven't really had (too) much time to gather my thoughts. I'm working on an outline for one of two projects that I have due in a couple of weeks. Maybe I'll have more time after that. Lots o' stuff has happened in the past month or so (well, maybe not lots, but a lot for here!). We completed our marathon, Eric and I are training for a half marathon in February, I have been on and off the sweet wagon a few times in the last few weeks, and in the middle of all of that, Eric and I dressed up and went out for Halloween! I will post pictures soon, really! What else? Oh yeah, I am also certified in Microdermabrasion and we have a new president. Fun! Exciting!
In the not-too-distant future, Eric and I will be embarking on a fabulous holiday voyage to Hawaii to spend time with my family, my long-lost dad included!! I can't wait for that! Every time I look in my closet, I am getting my Oahu wardrobe together! My mom sent me one of her fabulous dresses she made from 1975, I have to take it to the seamstress for a few tweaks, but we'll be going to Hawaii together. :)
I think that is all for now. I have to keep working on my outline, and really get started on project number one, so I can get to project number two, then get crackin' on my Christmas presents so I can enjoy Hawaii, and then start to get crafty in January.
Oh yeah, I am also going to try my darndest to take pictures everyday, even if it's of the mundane because that's what I love to do.
If I don't get back on here before Thanksgiving, I hope everyone has a great one. Don't eat too much, especially turkey, and I am thankful for my family and friends. (no turkey for me!!)
