My mom loved the miniseries, too. She, also, was amazed at the relationship between John and Abigail Adams, so I am looking forward to getting to that part. :)

I just watched the John Adams miniseries a couple weeks ago. I bought it for my Dad for Father's Day because he read the book and he's a big history buff. John Adams was a very interesting guy. His relationship with his wife was amazing. A really sweet love story that was founded on mutual respect. My Dad said the book was better than the miniseries (shocker), but he really enjoyed the movie as
