When I have the time, I am reading John Adams, by David McCullough.
So far, even though I am not far into it, I like it. John Adams seemed to be a pretty nice guy. Inquisitive, open-minded, and thoughtful. I am looking forward to reading more of this book, in between skincare and eyebrows.
(Looking through the book at all of the portraits of the Adams family, I saw a painting of John Quincy Adams. He was pretty cute! I had no idea!) ;P

I just watched the John Adams miniseries a couple weeks ago. I bought it for my Dad for Father's Day because he read the book and he's a big history buff. John Adams was a very interesting guy. His relationship with his wife was amazing. A really sweet love story that was founded on mutual respect. My Dad said the book was better than the miniseries (shocker), but he really enjoyed the movie as well, so you might want to check it out.
My mom loved the miniseries, too. She, also, was amazed at the relationship between John and Abigail Adams, so I am looking forward to getting to that part. :)
